"I believe music is a universal language that unites people from all different walks of life and can inspire greatness when used appropriately..."

EarthTone is a seasoned Q+ hip hop artist hailing from East Orange, NJ. From the age of six he fell in love with rhyming as he was groomed in what most consider the "Golden Era" of hip-hop culture. He grew up writing and performing his music after his older brothers discovered his innovative talents. A multi-faceted individual, he would go on to excel in academics and athletics, garnering an opportunity to play NCAA Division 3 basketball for an acclaimed liberal arts college in Pennsylvania.

Though heavily impacted by the rap artists such as Black Thought, Lauryn Hill, Phonte, Busta Rhymes, and Styles P, EarthTone prides himself on being a well-rounded artist with influences ranging from The Eagles to Kaytranada.

EarthTone released his debut, GMale EP in July 2013 followed by the New Balance Mixtape in 2016 before dropping his latest effort "Gourmet" in 2018. Along with producing on his own projects he has produced for various independent artists including his Q+ Supergroup, The AlliYance.

Aside from music, EarthTone has appeared on the reality webseries "The Circle NYC: Season 3", launced the bi-monthly Herbal Tea Podcast, started a production company (EarthTone Muziq), and is hosting a weekly interview series on SlayTV called "The Queery".
